Char Seal Bar uses the premium belly cut of Duroc pork hailed from Spain! It is typically juicier and has more marbling. Unapologetically fatty which is how char siew should be - it melted in the mouth like butter and every mouthful is an utter delight, and it’s even better than many revered roast meat hawkers in KL. The pork spends two days in a secret marinade of 16 ingredients that leaves the barbecued pork imprinted with savoury and caramel notes, finished with some bitterness from an unabashedly charred crust.
